Ice house
An 'interesting' day. The legal claim following the car crash last January rumbles on, and necessitated an appointment in Morpeth this afternoon. Grumble, grumble - the whole system seems unnecessarily long-winded and over-complicated. Cynical I may be, but sometimes it seems that lawyers string things out for their own benefit...
Anyway, to make the most of the day, MrM and I decided that we would also visit Wallington, a National Trust property, and have a walk around the grounds. (Our Christmas gift from Tom and Lucy was a year's joint membership of the NT!) What fabulous grounds - at this time of year, carpets of snowdrops and winter aconites. We left home later than intended and had time to walk only as far as the ice house but, never mind, we shall be back.
