Writing with a View

I trotted along to my new writers' group this afternoon.  It's a bit niche: it meets at the Hengistbury Head visitor centre and basically we just write about anything that has a connection to Hengistbury Head.  I can see myself getting bored with the concept eventually.  But for the moment I'm happy to go along: the natives are friendly and the location is scenic.  It will be nicer when there isn't an icy wind howling straight off the sea.
