Tent City

Bournemouth certainly has its back to the wall where its treatment of the homeless is concerned.  This is Occupy Bournemouth.  A number of homeless people and, I suspect, political activists, have taken over a disused coalyard.  Unfortunately it's a bit close to the school I was patrolling today.  Homelessness is a complex problem, and Jesus wisely said "The poor you will always have with you"; but in the end society has to be judged by how it treats its weakest members.

Visited a friend in the local McMillan Unit.  I don't think I'll see her again.  Cancer is an ugly disease.
