Essential reading...

We didn't set the alarm today. I had the consultant and we both had the morning off..so we took the dogs to drum castle for a walk in the snow. Lush. When we arrived at the hospital I checked in, they wanted to check a lymphnode, so we were pointed to the 2nd waiting area to wait...and wait. Seems we had been a little bit forgotten. Long story short, a lovely nurse spotted us, and a very skillful team of ultrasonographer and cytologist took a sample of a 2mm change. Then a 20 minute wait to get the good news that it was clear. However also the plan..... Depending on the Mri Monday the surgeon is keen to start chemotherapy. Sadly it is the vicious one I dread....because of the wedding we won't be starting straight away, he agreed to operate first, possibly as soon as Tuesday..my lovely nurse talked us through the chemo, cold caps, wigs..tempted to try a radical restyle!! Oh and my other half had the hots for Gail Porter back in the day!! Maybe will just go natural..
