My sole companion

It was a chilly -6 when I left the house this morning. Luka managed to shatter a tooth somehow and had to be dropped off at the vets early for an extraction under anaesthetic . Quick whizz round Aldi to get the essentials and a nice frosty walk with Polly around Elephant walk. So called because the long path resembles a trunk...at least our kids thought so when they were dragged round as toddlers!! Polly loved it, hard getting an actual photo that's not blurred!!
So the consultant was being a little enthusiastic when he suggested operating Tuesday. Back to wait for the Mri result and a date for the surgery. I had a chat with work, can work out an administration role with any luck, depending on how I feel. I also had a chat, a hug and a tear with a lovely lady who has been through breast cancer and not only survived but nailed it. We are going to have a coffee and a proper catch up. Hoping to get some decent sleep tonight..certainly tired enough.
