Acorn

Thought some fresh air might do me good and blow the cobwebs away, so I took my camera to the local woods to plan a short excusion for the camera club this coming Wednesday. We won't have long so I limited myself today to 45mins. Nice little circular route and lots of interesting things to photograph along the way - colours, pond, boardwalk (as seen on 28th Aug), leaves, ferns, various fungi, pine cones, acorns etc.

Ended up with a nice selection and quite a few possible blips. Hard decision but decided on the acorn. Hope the lighting is as good on Wednesday.
