Mapua wharf

M has gone off on a big bike adventure for the week and l have an old friend come to stay. Today we did the highlights of Nelson, we went to the lovely little Sutter art gallery where we saw a very powerful art installation called 'Pale' about an infamous Maori battle fought outside Nelson and the various characters involved in it - all made from drift wood and other components.
Afterwards, it being such a beautiful day we went out to Mapua.
