What a difference ..

A day makes.

A glorious day, I have even put some washing out, so different from yesterday.

Took this at the top of the garden looking through the Hamemelis (Witch Hazel) which featured in yesterday's blip, with the sun and blue skies, complete with contrails, behind.

The yellow flowers look great in the sun and you can just see the remains of the red flowers on the smaller tree down to the left.

Sun's going now and it is bitterly cold but we'll soon be warming up with a drink or two in the local with friends.

Happy birthday memories of my mum xxx - she would have been 102!
