Icicles

Very cold again today, these big icicles are hanging from the barn roof.  We had a lovely lunch at Karen's and then drove up to Brive to get some electrical stuff.  There were a lot of slow trucks on the smaller roads.  It turned out that the main autoroute was closed because of a protest by farmers who had driven their tractors onto the carriageway and blocked it; they were protesting about the re-zoning of agricultural land.  So a lot of trucks were off the autoroute and on the ordinary roads.  Anyway, we got what we needed and got back home eventually.  In between all that there were phone calls and emails about a couple of projects that are in various stages of happening/not happening.
