Daft Fools?

Or possibly daffodils.
Himself had a One Man Labelling Party last year and our garden is festooned with informative little white sticks.
Some are signposting their companions 
with more clarity than others, to the rest of us at least :-)

I'm sitting beside a coal fire.
(An alight coal fire)...
It's alight I might add (despite it not being Christmas anymore... Ooo - Feisty!)...because I still feel a tad below par and it's such a cheering sight.

Perhaps I feel the need for cheer?
(There's been a lot going on).

I can almost hear my Mother's voice, 'you could do with a tonic'.
(Whatever that is? I think an Irish Dry Stout would probably do the trick for me).
