Hassan Temples

We went to two temples today - one of which was  Belur and the second at Halebidu.
The first shot was taken in the first temple - thought it amusing that the priest, who'd taken a break from blessing visitors, was sitting on his mobile phone in a darkish corner!
The second was in the temple at Halebidu - very dark inside but rather loved this shot.  The temple carvings are amazing, quite extra ordinary and took generations to make - mostly out of sandstone.
Impressive to say the very least!  
Been quite hot today and feeling sorry for those undertaking the approx 175 km pilgrimage. We passed many many walkers today again.
Once again apologies for lack of comments but internet is intermittent.... maybe better in Mysore where we go tomorrow.
