What Were They Thinking

Nonchalantly wiping the evidence from his beak, the referee had unequivocally delivered his verdict on the losers of the vole 100 meters in this afternoon's AOG (Alternate Olympic Games 2018).

I ask you! What were the organisers thinking, giving the raptors any sort of judicial role in overseeing the rodents? The resulting fall out of the consequences has been resounding round the whole Olympic Village with people muttering in corners about bribery and corruption! One feels it will not end here, unfortunately all rather over overshadowing the opening ceremony of this morning.
