Spent this morning at Trimbina, an area of rainforest which can be accessed without a guide. It's amazing how much less you see if you don't have someone with an eagle eye tuned in to the local wildlife. Still, we couldn't miss this guy and his lady friend. They were up in a tree but we were on a bridge and so got a good view. He would usually be green and less conspicuous but this is the mating season and so he's gone an 'attractive' shade of rusty orange. Well, she seems to like it, going by the smile on her face. Every so often he lifts his head to show off the flap of skin you can see beneath his chin. Did nothing for me but each to their own.
