Up early and it looked OK

I set off for my favourite local walk and my birdwatching patch. There was brightness in the sky and I thought a window of opportunity before the forecast snow arrived.  It didn't quite work out  but I did see some birds.

Birds included Mistle Thrush, Song Thrush, Red Grouse, Great Spotted Woodpecker and a pair of Goosander on the lodge by the farm.

The footsteps in the snow looked good so that was my choice for today.
