A Country Gate

This gate silhouetted against the afternoon sun is not for walking through, but more to keep the cows in. At the moment the weather is not suitable for them to thrive outside and the grass is not growing either so they are tucked up in a barn with plenty of hay. The farmer has a full time job getting the food inside them and then clearing away from the other end; there's plenty of muck spreading this time of year.

It was a pleasurable change this morning to get up and have nowhere to go for the whole day and evening!
