Mother & Son

Watching take off.

We got to Heathrow a little early so we could grab lunch (and we wouldn’t need to eat once we arrived in Rome). We ended up having a rather expensive burger at a Gordon Ramsey restaurant. Flight departed and arrived on time and we got to our hotel about 8.45pm (local time). Our hotel room is very hot but not sure we can keep windows open as we are facing the road... will let you know tomorrow. We had a quick walk around to grab some water, back for a cup of tea and now bed. Ready to explore tomorrow.
