Canelés De Bordeaux

Spent the day dodging thunderstorms but when the sun came out it was lovely.

Went to see the statue of 'The Three Graces' in front of the Place de la Bourse.  My parents have had a picture of it for years in their house, apparently bought by Mum for Dad, as they had three daughters (the resemblance is uncanny, snort!....How we laughed...).    You can just see them in the extra photo.  We then did a city bus tour and some shopping.

But today's photo had to be Sam holding a newly discovered delicious snack, Caneles de Bordeaux.  He definitely has Martin's interest in trying new foodie experiences.

The hot tub is warming up and we are attempting pizza again tonight, this time as a takeaway!
