Desert Storm

Red flags are flying on he beach and we are ensconced in our hotel near Hurghada waiting the arrival of a desert storm.

I looked forward to it , my only worry was how to photograph it.

Well, as the morning wore on it became obvious there was no epic storm on the horizon. Yes palm trees were waving around dangerously but nothing like the predicted bad weather.

 The weather forecast of winds of 45-50mph  ( how did i know? BBC online of course) proved correct.

Now ,winds of that strength in Scotland barely get a mention and with the temperature a comfortable 23C it was a positively warm day.
In Egypt its regarded as cold.
