Olympic Tuesday

Chilly day but finally no snow accumulations. We are to warm up a bit starting tomorrow. We had a pancake breakfast at work, it was lovely! I bought/made the plate in this blip for a friend, the whipped cream is a happy face. He was thrilled with the surprise treat...it became his early lunch. The photo on the right is one of about 20 Canadians at the Olympics who received funding from the non-profit Can-Fund, providing money to athletes. Each photo has the athletes words as to what this financial support means to them. This bobsledder says Can-Fund is "fuel for my speed". Canada has been doing well so far in the medals race...yay.... Off to teach aquafit tonight. Young son lands in Sydney, Australia shortly for his return to law school after summer break. I miss him already but he is very happy and pursuing his dream.
