Chloe Takes Flight

Against a cloudy PNW stadium sky and amidst tears of joy from spectators, Chloe performed a flawless routine while memories of anxiety attacks faded into the distance.   She was cheered by several of her teammates who offered a rather disjointed congratulatory lap (see Extras) while she stood proudly on the podium to receive her gold medal.  Cecil said he knew all along that she could do it.  

The snow is creeping ever closer to the stadium but there are no encouraging reports from the weatherman that it will reach the lower elevations in time for the competitions.  The athletes are undeterred and will continue no matter what the weather brings.  

All athletes at the PNW stadium are proud of their teammates at other venues and their successes.  The snow geese at Merrill Creek, Florida, have been particularly inspirational. here The Canada geese not so much.
