Nagarhole National Park

We enjoyed 2 safari's in the park and saw very little but when we went on a river safari we came across this family of elephants.  The male became quite agitated and waded into the water, throwing his trunk about, digging mud off the river bed and generally showing his strength. We spent half an hour or more watching them before heading off to find more animals/birds near the river and then the engine died....oooops...so another boat was hailed and we were towed until a rescue boat came and took over.  
The extras show two young native lads fishing in the river - balanced on a bamboo raft -  and the early morning mist from our early land safari.
