Witch Hazel. FF16_2018.

     This is about the only flower out at the moment in our front garden and it is now at its best. I know I have blipped this before but that was when it was just appearing on the stems. I took this late afternoon with the sun shining on it.

     There is a rose in the extras likewise in the sunshine, however I could not get high enough to capture the shapes within the rose. 

     Took Mrs B to Dr's surgery this morning. Blood tests taken and now have to have an X-ray done as well, returning next Wednesday for a further appt. The inflammation has now subsided and pain has reduced.

     Having trouble with our heating boiler not firing up in the mornings and especially this morning as it was very frosty and cold. Got my friendly boiler man round, had a look at it and has ordered a part for it and returning tomorrow to fix it.
