Late afternoon walk

A much better day today; still cold but without the wind we've had over the last few days. I had a disappointing swim this morning as the pool had not been fully refilled after maintenance so with the water level low the waves bounced back off the sides and it was like swimming in the North Sea on a windy day. I gave up after only doing about a quarter of my normal distance so late afternoon we did a walk around the village fields; I thought the late afternoon sun looked rather good on this gate part way round.
