A day in town

A day up in London to meet friends for lunch in Covent Garden. We ate at the Ivy Market Grill (which is to The Ivy a bit like the Blanc Brasseries are to Le Manoir) which was fine; the food was good but the tables were a bit 'squeezed in' and it was very busy; not sure I would go back to that one but I might be tempted to try another branch somewhere else. But the company was good; one of W's old University friends that she has stayed in touch with over the years.

Walking back up to Euston for the train home we passed this in Kingsway which I always think looks attractive. I think I started something; as I was taking the picture on my phone a group of young tourists stopped and all started taking the same shot!
