Koh Jum
Back-blippped on 17th February
Today we travelled the short distance from the north of the island to the south, where we shall be staying for the next week or so.
We had arranged for a long-tailed boat to take us, but when it came time to leave, the wind had got up a bit, so the boat couldn't pull into the beach where we were. One of the lads helped us with our bags and we walked to another boat which was a couple of hundred metres away, and climbed on board that one. The boat then motored offshore a few hundred metres and met up with "our" boat that we were supposed to be on, and we climbed from one to the other along with our luggage. Now you know why we travel light! If we had large suitcases / baggage / wheels etc, no way would be able to climb from one boat to another like that - which is great fun by the way, and adds to the adventure.
Later on, we took a walk further south, to this little bay.
