Shields of green... revisited
I had to do some more pruning today, it had to be done. I'd started last weekend buy mainly making sure nothing was growing into and/or damaging next doors fence. I have no intention of taking too much habitat away too quickly, as creatures like this chap - the common green shield bug - are still very much present. He appeared on the buddleia, which is now way past flowering and dying off, and announced his presence by slowly crawling towards me, perhaps wondering why I was there, doing what I was doing. Ironically, earlier in the year I photographed one of these, an immature one here, upon the exact same plant; therefore it is wholly possible it could be the same one, all grown up!
