There is one thing you can’t come to Amsterdam without trying - no, apart from that. Almost more ubiquitous than the ‘coffee’ shops are the mass of cheese shops. These people really love their cheese. All of them with these massive cheeses outside, which are entirely theft proof because you’d give yourself a hernia just trying to lift them.
