Witch hazel

I headed into Exeter early today as I had a ticket for the Western Counties Photographic Federation event.  Knowing that I would be set indoors in the dark for many hours I went for a walk around the town center first and through Northernhay gardens looking for a blip.  I spotted this Witch hazel covered in rain drops.

An interesting event where you view over 1000 digital images and hear the marks awarded by the judge.  It seems wildlife - birds and butterflies were the favourite.
