Bribery.

Near the Lodge there are a couple of horses/ponies (I have never had a chance to measure how many hands they are).  The Grandchildren being city born and bred are always being introduced to animals and the wider natural world when the opportunity arises.  Being my grandchildren they have no choice when I am around I am afraid.

So this morning we wandered across to say hello to the ponies.  Previous experience has shown they are aloof but a judiciously waved carrot soon changes their minds!

Later we had a great family meal with Kanyl, Katkatkat, ArcaneSpark, Daniel & Emily.  As the grandkids were going to bed we headed for home to get ready to meet them again at Center Parcs for more fun over the coming days.
