Frayed In Foul Weather, Eccles

After the beautiful sunshine of the past three days today returned to the foul, dark and wet. I still ventured out on a walk but it wasn't exactly a pleasant experience and I saw few opportunities to take a photograph until I came across this pole wrapped in this fraying material. I liked it's graphic qualities and how it had aged due to the weather. In the field behind this pole was a bedraggled, mournful looking horse and all I could hear was the rain on my umbrella and the unnerving hum of the power cables above.
