A Year in Phnom Penh

Mourning the King Father

This has been the scene outside the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh since the King Father's body was delivered here from Beijing on Wednesday.

Berry and I dressed in the customary white top with a small black bow and black bottoms to mark the occasion and joined the crowds, offering incense, lighting candles and being led in prayer by over 5000 attending monks. It was an incredible scene.
