Netted Crop.....

Many parts of our country have been seriously affected by Cyclone Gita.... now downgraded to a tropical storm. We feel for those folk who have sustained damage to property and land. So far, touch wood, Blenheim has got off lightly. We have had a great amount of rain with little wind. This morning Maisie and I went for a long walk in the rain. We were able to cross the river by using the big stepping stones in two places. The grapevines have been netted to prevent birds damaging the cropin the vineyard we walk through.
