Look what I found...

I'm finishing up the dishes when I hear Kaylee start reading... thinking she was reading out loud, to herself, in her room, I thought nothing of it. Then I heard Colby laugh when she did.

Hmmm... could it be that they're reading together? Bonding together? Without parental support? .... could it?

I grabbed the camera - just in case my suspicions were confirmed... snuck down the hall and...

Kaylee had rolled her hair in curlers for tomorrow's picture day at school. Colby was playing a game on the kindle while Kaylee read him a story. They both were talking, laughing and interacting - my heart almost burst from my chest!

I started snapping pics and they both stopped - looked up at me and in unison said "Mom, really?".

My response.... "Really."
