School Picture Day

The kids were excited to dress up for School Picture day. Who am I to squash their enthusiasm for the generic "school picture" - so I embraced the excitement and did my own session. We curled Kaylee's hair and even allowed for make-up, she picked out her outfit and she beamed with pride. It always amazes me how someone's smile changes when they, themselves, feel pretty.

Colby wore his blue button up shirt and a tie - we combed his hair and spiked the front a bit with gel. He was feeling pretty proud of himself as well (he just didn't enjoy our impromptu photo session before school),

Kaylee was very eager to get her pictures taken, posing for me both inside the house and on the lawn.

This one is by far our favorite - and BJ and I fear for those teenage years..... augh, the boys, the girls, the drama....
