Syracusa

Road trip to Syracusa and Ortigia today, just south of Catania. Everyone was a little bit exhausted from the indulgences and activities from the previous few days so we probably didn't make the most of the day, but we still managed to allow the boyfriend's nerdiness with a trip to the Archimedes Maths Museum, and my desire for some typical Sicilian pasta alla Norma too.

Luckily for me, we were invited back to the very kind friend's parents for dinner again tonight (we must have been on our best behaviour!) and it was more pasta on the menu there - along with some meats and potato dishes and bread and cake and digestivi and coffee... Back out for more socialising after the epic meal of course!
