I managed to catch this US Navy Lockheed C-130T Hercules at Prestwick today. It is quite normal to see these types of aircraft come and go but today was different. They usually just fill up with fuel and head on to the next destination but this one took on a full load of cargo. I wonder what was in the giant boxes they put inside.
I have put an extra picture on today of her approach to the airport. Unfortunately it is a horrible picture due to the mist and rain.
Also on the extras is a shot of a Royal Air Force Hercules departing for a training exercise. I managed to catch it with the spiral vortices on the propellers.
