Banks Peninsula Track, Day 1

Our first day on the Banks Peninsula Track took us over the hill (a climb of over 400m, and descent from 690m down to sea level) from near Akaroa, down to Flea Bay. Such a good day! The views were magnificent.
See a view in Extras, looking out through the Akaroa Heads, looking south. Looks glorious, especially with that Totara stump looking magnificent.
