Hard frost overnight...

then a glorious day as the sun burned off the mist and some frost. The sun felt really hot as I climbed up to see the cup and ring stone on this hillside.It shone all day and was very welcome. 
The birds obviously enjoyed it too as here I heard the first singing from the Mistle Thrush and a drumming Woodpecker. Another Spring sign was the Treecreeper in the extra.
