Red sunrise ...

on the frozen loch belies the coldness of the morning. There was a hard frost and the moorland tracks were like rock and the marsh like glass. Perfect for brisk walking.
A small flock of Bullfinches had found a bank of defrosting heather seed heads, so one is in the extra.
Three Lapwings flew over heading inland to scout for nesting, hurray!
