Old faithful
Graham’s old tractor that is! He’s had this at least as long as I’ve known him ( which will be 40 years this July ).
Alex was feeling poorly, being the last member of the family to go down with a ‘runny tummy’ bug.
Mary was in fine form, swinging on the same swing that her mum and aunties used to swing on ( whilst their parents were hay making using the old faithful tractor no doubt ).
Not part of the ‘throw away’ culture, us country folk.
At 4pm I went off to meet Joy and Derby, attending a bitting clinic, to see if there was a better bit for Derby. The second bit that the lady running the clinic tried made such a difference to Derby’s performance that Joy purchased it then and there. It was a real ‘wow’ moment, even for me just watching from the sideline. ( My extra pic is Joy showing how Derbs performs with her original bit ).
