Love Is In the Air

More gardening today. We've been hiring people to do the harder stuff--what a concept! We are almost caught up with the spring pruning and cleaning up. As we were working we could see a huge black cloud coming in, darker and darker. By the time we took a break and went down to the market there was a heavy downpour--a cold dumping rain that lasted about ten minutes and was gone as fast as it arrived. Not enough to do anything but make a mess. There are hints of rain forecast for next week--all we can do is hope for a real storm. It's cold--we've got a fire going.

I changed the photo of the lavender that was here originally. I completely forgot that I'd seen these pigeons earlier and was using a different camera.  Only a week late for Valentine's Day...
