Wivenhoe Ferry

In all my years living in/around Wivenhoe, I have always meant to get the Wivenhoe ferry, and always managed to miss it. Today, on it's last day of the season, G, Mum and I finally ferried across to Rowhedge for a shandy on the riverside and ferried back a while later. It was definitely worth the wait, and really good to see our flat from the water.

This evening saw Ellie host C and D Film Club- the latest instalment in our ongoing series. This time we watched China Town (excellent) and The Descendants (awful) whilst eating curry, crumble and custard. We also chose our E and F choices for next month.
