on the beach

Another bright and pleasant day.
I worked for a while in the garden, carrying on with yesterday's job - emptying the leaf litter bin and mulching one of the beds with last years rotted down leaves.
I fixed up the bin ready for refilling and picked up all the leaves that are down so far.
We took a break to go down to a nearby beach to walk the dogs and to gather some sea beet to have with our dinner. There have been some very high tides and seaweed and rocks have been flung up into the fields behind the beach, the beds of sea beet were a bit washed out but we found enough, thankfully, as its a favourite food.
