Today's the day ........................ to ignore

According to the latest newspaper headlines, next week 'us Brits' are about to face 'the coldest week in five years'.

It could just be because London is likely to be affected that they've gone a bit over the top - who knows?  But today, it was a lovely day, and we just pretended that spring had arrived.  Will got out his bike - and went on a long cycle ride.  I was in the garden doing a bit of tidying up and cutting back.  This little miniature iris was the first one of a bunch to open in the rockery. 

Good job they can't read the headlines ............................
