Parallel Universe

Yes, it could be a statement on the sorry state of affairs in the US, but in this case, it's the title of a new exhibit I went to see today with a former colleague of mine (she's the 'model' on the main).

It was wild, to say the least! Comprised of four installations, this is an immersive, multi-sensorial experience where 3D motion-mapped projections and light installations draw inspiration from science, mathematics and even astrology. They explore representations of nature and the reconstruction of space through new digital media. When you enter, you are plunged into darkness while a mapping of circular geometric continuous transformations plays out to the tune of an eerily pulsating soundtrack.  


At the entrance, there are strong (and much warranted) warnings for people suffering from epilepsy, heart conditions, and migraines. I'm still trying to remove the light spots from my eyes as I type this... But oh so cool :))
