Happy 17th Birthday Es...

...and it turned out to be quite a Birthday with an unconditional offer for Stirling University landing in her inbox just after 5pm.

She didn’t see this until the end of her Birthday tea. She was lamenting that Waitrose had not got back to her yet re the job interview she went for last Friday and that she had a nail appointment booked for tomorrow and didn’t know if she could get her acrylics done again...1st world problems! I suggested she try looking in her SPAM folder and so when she went into check there was an email from Waitrose and an email in her inbox indicating that her UCAS applications had been updated!

Waitrose have added her to their talent pool...she was a little disappointed but the job on the fish counter (not ideal for a vegetarian) would have seen the end of her acrylic talons. She soon cheered up when she thought about the pink acrylics she could now get tomorrow!

That happy thought was soon surpassed with the news that Stirling University were offering her an unconditional on her preferred course. Whooping and a-hollering there was much.

She’s been holding out to hear from Stirling...logging in daily I think to see if her applications had progressed any.

So chuffed for her.
