In a shocking come from behind victory...

The crowd was gasping in awe as Team Downy Woodpecker's star, Willow, took Gold in the caching event.  Teams Titmouse, Chickadee and Nuthatch were bested by underbird, Willow, who showed her laser-focus and cached the most seeds without dropping a single one.  It was awe-inspiring to see how easy she made it look with only one or two pecks to get the seed firmly cached in the tree.  She's been mum on who her coaches are, but you know that your Intrepid Reporter is going to try to get to the bottom of it in the next few weeks.

In other news, Team Blue Jay slid into second place behind Team Titmouse in the race for Gold in the Aerial Peanut Relays.  A heartbreaking loss for Team Blue Jay, but Team Titmouse was delirious with joy as they flew off with their gold medal (and the leftover peanuts.)
