Green hearts

The WI's green hearts are now displayed in various shops in the village, with an explanation that they are to focus people's minds on global warming, and asking them what they would miss if global warming were to take effect. This display is in the window of our friendly village butcher and he too is thinking about the environment. He has sourced environmentally friendly wrapping for his meat. It is thick paper which does not leak, can be used in the deep freeze and is fully recyclable. No more plastic bags here!  (See extra) I do hope this catches on with other food retailers.
