Result!

This had been the highlight of the day but the rugby result just changed that. A terrific win but you can never tell when Scotland might self-destruct so it's just as well I don't bite my nails or they'd be down to the quick. I must say it was a sweet result after the earlier curling and footie disappointments.
This loaf is the first sourdough that I've made for a bit. It takes a while - I made the poolish yesterday afternoon, it was nice and bubbly this morning and then the dough spent most of the day gently rising. Timed it to be ready at the end of the rugby too! Sandwiches for tea tonight I think.
