Over the Horizon

Neptune's Gold

Another day, another dollar out on the sea.

The usual suspects - albatross, shearwaters, shags, and even a glimpse of my beloved dolphins. Long, clear views and tempestuous weather that changed from sparkling sun to brooding clouds and back again throughout the day.

In late afternoon a sudden squall traveled up the harbor drenching us in hail and cold rain before marching out to sea. Gone, no sooner than it had arrived the winds died and everything became flat and calm. And in the wake of those whirl winds a sea rainbow arced over the cloudy horizon. Plunging into the deep it must be leading the way to Neptune's Gold.
